- Jacob Voogd
Founder of KTI and Evergreen Holdings Inc., Mr. Voogd is a graduate chemical engineer from Stanford and USC. He was a Trustee of Scripps College for Women and the Loyola Marymount University, and a Board member of the Alzeta Corporation. Mr. Voogd is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Evergreen Holdings, Inc.
- Dr. Harold Brown
An Evergreen Board member since 1988, Dr. Brown was formerly Secretary of Defense, President of Caltech, and Head of the Lawrence Livermore National Labs.
Dr. Harold Brown has served in the Boards of IBM, Mattel, Cummings Engines, Phillip Morris, and the Rand Corporation; as well as a member of the think tank for the Center of Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC.
- William Reilly
Former Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency under President George Bush, Sr.
Mr. Reilly is a member of the Board of DuPont, and a visiting professor at Stanford University. A graduate of Yale, he is currently President & CEO of Aqua International Partners, an investment fund for water projects in developing countries.
- Hector V. Barreto
Our newest Board member Hector Barreto brings to Evergreen valuable business experience from his long history in the corporate and public sectors. Appointed by President Bush and approved by Congress in 2001, he served for five years as Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Mr. Barreto is also a former Chairman of the Latin Business Association, and past Vice Chairman for the U. S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Hector is presently Chairman of the Latino Coalition and member of the Commission for Economic Development of the State of California.

- Jake Voogd, Chief Executive Officer
A Chemical Engineering graduate from Stanford and USC, Mr.. Voogd was previously President and CEO of KTI, a $200 million European chemical engineering contractor.
Mr. Voogd has headed the Evergreen Group in the USA since its inception in 1983, with vision and leadership that has proven successful for the company.
- George Lamont, Executive VP
George Lamont joined Evergreen Oil in 2011. Prior to joining Evergreen, Mr. Lamont was the President of Chemical Engineering Partners (CEP) since 2006. He has held engineering and management positions with Gulf Oil, Profimatics, Parsons Corp and the Artic Slope Regional Corp.
As a graduate Chemical Engineer from Drexel University with over 30 years of executive, project engineering and construction management and expertise in the hydrocarbon industry, George is a tremendous asset to our team.
- Robert Gwaltney, VP - Refinery Operations
Mr. Robert C. (Bob) Gwaltney, leads delivery of plant performance for both re-refinery trains, the wastewater treatment plant, tank-farm, truck and rail facilities. Prior to joining Evergreen, Mr. Gwaltney was section manager for refinery operations at BP’s Texas City, TX refinery, from 2006 to 2010. Mr. Gwaltney earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University, and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles.
- Jesus Romero, VP Administration/Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Romero joined Evergreen on September 2000, marking the starting point of the company's successful financial turn-around. He is a CPA with a B.S. degree in accounting from the National University of Mexico.
Mr. Romero has over 30 years of senior management experience, including the positions of CFO/VP Finance & Administration for Wisdom Imports Inc., Irvine CA, and VP Corporate Development & Wholesale Operations with Labatt-USA, Norwalk, Connecticut. He has also acted as a business consultant on accounting, financial and organizational matters.
